Questions & Answers
Frequently asked questions and answers about Positional Alignment Therapy.
A treatment of approximately 30 minutes costs CHF 126, a treatment of 45 minutes costs CHF 189. Billing is based on tariff 590.
2. How much does a treatment cost?
A treatment typically lasts 30 minutes. In more complex situations, it can take 45 minutes.
3. How long does a treatment take?
Some supplemental insurance plans cover part of the treatment costs. Please check with your supplemental insurance provider and ask about coverage for the Dorn Method (Method 42) and whether I am accredited as a therapist.
4. Will the treatment costs be covered by the health insurance company?
No. I have been manipulating patients for years as an osteopath. Unfortunately, the results were often not sustainable, and the recurring symptoms were unsatisfactory for the patient. For this reason, I now use a gentler and much more effective method.
5. Will I be manipulated or "cracked" during treatment?
Sometimes patients react to the treatment with a kind of muscle soreness and fatigue. These reactions usually last one to two days.
6. What physical reactions can occur after treatment?
Patients wear only their underwear and, if necessary, leggings can also be worn, as access to the spine and ribs must be textile-free for the treatment.
Important for women: Please wear a bra that exposes as much of your upper back as possible. Sports bras are often unsuitable.
7. What clothing should patients wear during the treatment?
The practice does not have its own parking spaces. There are various parking options in the surrounding area, including blue zones. Please allow sufficient time to find a parking space, as parking in Zurich can be time-consuming. I recommend that my patients travel by public transportation.
8. Is there parking at the practice?
The practice is located on the 2nd floor and is accessible by elevator. Unfortunately, there are stairs leading up to the entrance. Strollers can be left downstairs at your own risk. The practice is unsuitable for walkers or wheelchairs.
9. Is the practice accessible with a stroller, walker or wheelchair?
Yes, that's it. Positional Alignment is the English term for Dorn Therapy and describes the alignment of the body, which is what defines my treatment method.
